Red Stripe Digital / Legal
Privacy Policy
How we collect, use and protect information when you visit the Red Stripe Digital website or contact our team.
Last updated: 29 October 2026
1. Scope
This policy covers personal data handled through the Red Stripe Digital marketing website, including enquiries and website preferences. “We” and “us” mean the operator of this website under the Red Stripe Digital brand. Services under a client agreement are governed by that agreement and any data-processing terms it includes.
For privacy requests, use our contact form and mark your message as a privacy request. Do not include passwords, payment details or sensitive personal data.
2. What we collect
When you contact us, we collect your name, work email, company, role, optional WeChat ID or phone number, ad-spend range, message, preferred language and consent. We also create an enquiry reference and timestamp.
Our hosting providers process technical data needed to deliver and secure the site, such as IP addresses, request times and browser details. Your browser stores your language and cookie choices locally.
The client login page does not transmit or retain credentials. Interactive product examples run in your browser and do not connect to any advertising account.
3. How we use it
We use enquiry data to respond to you, understand your requirements and prepare a possible proposal. We use technical data to operate and protect the website. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing messages.
We collect personal data in line with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance of Hong Kong and, where it applies, the Personal Information Protection Law of the People's Republic of China and other applicable laws.
4. Sharing
Enquiry data is available to authorised team members handling enquiries and to the technical providers that host the website and its database. We may disclose data where required by law or to investigate misuse. We do not sell enquiry data or use it to train AI models.
5. Cross-border processing
Our hosting and database providers may process data outside Hong Kong and mainland China. Where the law requires safeguards or your consent for cross-border transfer, we put them in place. Contact us for details of the providers relevant to your enquiry.
6. Retention and security
Enquiries are kept only as long as needed to respond and manage any resulting business relationship, then deleted. You may ask us to delete your enquiry at any time.
We use input validation, rate limits and restricted database access to protect your data. No online system is completely secure, so please only share what your enquiry needs.
7. Your rights
Depending on the law that applies, you may request access to or correction of your data, ask us to delete it, withdraw consent or object to certain processing. We may need to verify your identity first.
Send requests through the contact form and include your enquiry reference where possible. You may also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data in Hong Kong or another competent authority.
8. Children and updates
This business website is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect their data. We may update this policy as our website or practices change; the date above shows the latest revision.
